terminal-life is written by a group of Unix and Linux professionals who've spent their careers in the shell — and would rather hand you the good commands than watch you rediscover them the hard way.
We've installed Slackware from floppy disks, talked to mainframes over serial lines, migrated companies off operating systems the vendors abandoned, and stayed up past midnight with failing deploys more times than we'll admit. The terminal is where we live. It's also where the best of what we know lives — so we put it here.
Everything on this site comes out of real work: tools we actually run, one-liners we actually type, config tweaks we actually keep. Nothing is theoretical, nothing is padded, and nothing gets published until it's been run against a real machine. If a command works, we say why. If it has limits, we say those too — that honesty is the whole point.
The mission is simple: share what a few decades in Unix and Linux taught us, in a form you can use tonight. No gatekeeping, no mystique, no signup wall. Just the terminal, documented by the people who never left it.
